I'm sure that some folks would just advise against mixing textures from Nexus and Bethesda but I've found that Skyrim SE is severely lacking comprehensive creature retexture packs, while they are plentiful on Bethesda. Can I download this via the main menu Bethesda interface and then just scoot it down in load order on Vortex to make sure it overrides other any conflicting textures from other mods? Has anyone run into issues with mix-matching textures in this fashion? Is there a better way to download them than using Bethesda's provided interface? An example would be Divine Dragon Textures by Tarsh. My question is this: Is it generally safe to mix and match Texture and Mesh packs from Bethesda with other mods from Nexus? Mostly talking about mods that retexture Creatures and Animals and some that also remesh a few creatures and animals. Recently I've discovered that many old mods have left Nexus for other pastures, but many are still available on Bethesda (and easy enough to download via Skyrim's Bethesda menues). Hopefully an easy question: I use primarily Nexus mods on PC with Vortex as my only mod manager. We’re also pleased to have the opportunity to sit down.
